JMI provide its students the latest analogue and digital equipment. Students are expected to work on high-end as well as low-end shooting and editing systems. A sufficient number of video and still cameras both analogue and digital for giving hands on training are available at the institute. Each classroom has been equipped with projection equipment and computer for facilitating practice during the lecture sessions. Enviable large shooting floor, edit bays, sound studio, still photography studio and class rooms constructed in palatial rooms and halls provide ideal conditions for unleashing creative potentials of the students. The institute aims at frequently updating its technology and capability of technical staff to keep pace with the changes in the market. |

Hostel and Dining Halls |

As the institute is fully residential and we expect the students to work on their projects during odd hours, separate hostels and mess facility for boys and girls has been created for all the students and staff members of the institute. The residential accommodation is equipped with all basic amenities for boarding and lodging as well as with recreational facilities. The fee for the hostel is charged at the rate of Rs 800 and the mess charges are Rs. 1200. However dining charges are subject to changes as per the fluctuations in the market. |

It serves both academic and production needs of the students with the help of a rich collection of books, journals, films and music on CDs and DVDs, encyclopaedias etc. for students' consultation and perusal.

A fully equipped centre with basic health care facilities and a qualified Doctor and paramedical staff caters to the health needs of the students and members of staff. The centre also caters to the health care requirements of the residents of Jahangirabad. |

All stationery items can be purchased as well as Xerox copies made from the shop inside the campus at subsidized rates.
Canteen
Apart from hostel mess, a small canteen has been provided to the students. It dispenses basic refreshments and eatables like tea, coffee, soft drinks, snacks, etc. Canteen charges would be payable in cash at the time of purchase. |
